CHAP. 281.— AN ACT granting an increase of pension to Caroline Hawley.March 3, 1879. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled.*,Caroline Hawley.Pension increased. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to issue to Caroline Hawley, widow of William Hawley, late first lieutenant in the United States Army, a pension-certificate at the rate of thirty dollars per month, instead of the certificate for seventeen dollars per month she now holds.
