CHAP. 280.— AN ACT to increase the pension of Mrs. Elizabeth S. Roberts.March 3, 1879. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United, States of America in Congress assembled*,Elizabeth S. Roberts.Pension increased. That the pension now allowed by law to Mrs. Elizabeth S. Roberts, widow of the late Benjamin S. Roberts, lieutenant-colonel of the United States Army and brigadier- general of volunteers, be, and the same is hereby, increased to the sum of thirty dollars per month, at which rate she shall be borne upon the pension-rolls of the United States from and after the passage of this act.
