CHAP. 240.— An Act granting a pension to Jonathan Roberts.June 15, 1878. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,J. Roberts.Pension to. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pens ion-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations©!’the pension-laws, the name of Jonathan Roberts, late a scout in the United States service, and pay him a pension as of the rank of private.
