CHAP. 230.— AN ACT for the relief of Thomas R. Alexander, of Illinois.March 3, 1879. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,T. R. Alexander.Pay and allowances. That the proper accounting- officer of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to Thomas R. Alexander, late lieutenant Company F, Eightieth Regiment Blinois Infantry Volunteers, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the pay and allowance of first lieutenant of infantry commanding company, from the first day of November, eighteen hundred and sixty-four, until the nineteenth day of June, eighteen hundred and sixty-five, after first deducting all pay and allowances received by the said Thomas R Alexander.
