CHAP. 228.— AN ACT granting a pension to Susan Humes.March 3, 1879. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Susan Humes.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to restore to the pension-roll, the name of Susan Humes, dependent foster-mother of George C. Humes, late first lieutenant of Company B, of the One hundred and nineteenth Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteers, and pay her a pension from and after the passage of this act. Approved, March 3, 1879.
