CHAP. 227.— AN ACT granting arrears of pension to Emilie R. Hooe, widow of the late Brevet Major Alexander S. Hooe, Fifth Infantry, United States Army.March 3, 1879. *Be it enacted*,Emilie R. Hooe.Pension arrears. fry *the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to Emilie R. Hooe, widow of the late Brevet Major Alexander S. Hooe, of the Fifth Infantry, United Slates Army, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, a sum of money equal to twenty dollars per month, from December eighth, eighteen hundred and forty-seven, the date of the death of her said husband, to the first day of January, eighteen hundred and fifty-four, the time of the commencement of the pension given her by special act of Congress.
