CHAP. 217.— AN ACT granting a pension to William H. Garrett, late private in Company B, in the Fifty-sixth Regiment Illinois Infantry Volunteers.March 3, 1879. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,W. H. Garrett.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll the name of William H. Garrett, late private of Company B, in the Fifty-sixth Regiment Illinois Infantry Volunteers, and pay him a pension from and after the passage of this act. Approved, March 3, 1879.
