CHAP. 216.— AN ACT granting a pension to Joseph. Ward.March 3, 1879. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,J. Ward.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-rolls the name of Joseph Ward, late a private in Company C, thirteenth Regiment of Tennessee Cavalry and pay him a pension from and. after- the passage of this act.
