CHAP. 179.— An act donating four condemned cannon to the town of Sutton in the State of Massachusetts. March 3, 1879. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Sutton, Mass. That the Secretary of War be, and he hereby is, authorized to deliver, if the same can be done without detriment to the public service, to the town of Sutton, in the State of Massachusetts, four condemned cannon, to be used in the erection of aCondemned can non. soldiers’ monument in said town. Sec. 2. That he be authorized to accept the receipt of the selectmen of said town for said cannon. Approved, March 3, 1879.
