CHAP. 171.— An Act for the relief of J. C. McBurney.June 08, 1878. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,J. C. McBurney.Credit in accounts. That the accounting-officers of the Treasury Department be directed, in the settlement of the accounts of J. C. McBurney, late collector of interna) revenue for the second District of Georgia, to credit him with the sum of three thousand eight hundred and ninety-five dollars and seven cents, on account of the embezzlement and defalcation of Michael O’Brien of that sum while acting as deputy to McBuruey.
