CHAP. 167.— An Act for the relief of John F. Sutherlin and Brother, of Parke County, Indiana.June 07, 1878. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,J. F. Sutherlin & Bro.Settlement of claim against. That the Commissioner of Internal Revenue is hereby authorized and directed to settle the claim or account of the United States against said John F. Sutherlin and Brother, of Parke County,Indiana, distillers, by receiving in full discharge thereof the amount of tax due upon the actual number of gallons of proof spirits produced by them, without further claim in the nature of damages, penalty, or other charge.
