CHAP. 166.— AN ACT granting a pension to James Mahew, late private in the Twenty-third Battery of Indiana Volunteers.March 1, 1879. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America, in Congress assembled*,J. Mayhew.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll the name of James Mahew, late private in the Twenty-third Battery of Indiana Volunteers, and pay him a pension from and after the passage of this act. Approved, March 1, 1879.
