CHAP. 160.— AN ACT granting a pension to James Buchanan.March 1, 1879. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,J. Buchanan.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized anti directed to place on the pension- roll, the name of James Buchanan, late private in Company I, Thirty- first Ohio Volunteers, and pay him a pension from and after the passage of this act. Approved, March 1, 1879.
