CHAP. 149.— AN ACT to place George W. Browning on the pension-roll.March 1, 1879. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,G. W. Browning.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is, hereby, authorized and directed to place the name of George W. Browning, late an orderly-sergeant in Company D, of the First Regiment of Tennessee Infantry Volunteers, on the pension-roll, and pay him a pension from and after the passage of this act. Approved, March 1, 1879.
