CHAP. 137.— An Act granting a pension to Elizabeth Reese, widow of John Reese, a deceased soldier.May 25, 1878. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Elizabeth Reese.Pension to. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on »he pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension-laws, the name of Elizabeth Reese, widow of John Reese, deceased, late private in Company C, Fourteenth Regiment of New York Volunteers, and pay her the pension allowed by law to the widow of a deceased soldier, from and after the passage of this act.
