CHAP. 117.— An act donating condemned cannon and cannonballs to Ledyard Monument Association, of Ledyard, Connecticut, for monumental purposes. March 1, 1879. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America, in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of War be,Ledyard Monument Association.Condemned cannon, etc., to. and he hereby is, authorized to deliver, if the same can be done without detriment to the government, to the Ledyard Monument Association of Ledyard, State of Connecticut, four condemned cannon, to be placed on a monument erected in honor of the deceased soldiers of said Led-yard. Approved, March 1, 1879.
