CHAP. 113.— AN ACT for the relief of the Commercial Bank of Knoxville, Tennessee.Feb. 28, 1879. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Commercial Bank of Knoxville, Tenn.Redemption of seven-thirty note. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and hereby is, directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of five hundred and seventy-three dollars to James Comfort, assignee of the late Commercial Bank of Knoxville, Tennessee, in payment of seven-thirty United States bond number one hundred thousand four hundred and thirty-six, third series, with coupons attached, and which was burned in mail-car at Benning’s Station, near Washington, District of Columbia, while in transportation through the mail.
