Chap. XXVI.— An Act *granting further time for locating military land warrants, and for other purposes.*(*a*)(*a*) See notes to vol. i. 464, and act of March 23, 1804, vol. 2, 274.March 19, 1804. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the act intituled “AnFormer act revived and continued in force till the first April, one thousand eight hundred and five.Act of March 1800. Act of March 23, 1804, ch. 33.Limitation as to the location of warrants.1802, ch. 30.June 1, 1796, ch. 46. act in addition to an act, intituled An act in addition to an act regulating the grants of land appropriated for military services, and for the society of the United Brethren for propagating the gospel among the heathen,” approved the twenty-sixth day of April, eighteen hundred and two, be, and the same is hereby revived and continued in force, until the first day of April, one thousand eight hundred and five : *Provided*, however, that the holders or proprietors of warrants or registered certificates, shall and may locate the same, only on any unlocated parts of the fifty quarter townships, and the fractional quarter townships, which had been reserved for original holders, by virtue of the fifth section of an act, intituled “An act in addition to an act, intituled An act regulating the grants of land appropriated for military services, and for the society of the United Brethren for propagating the gospel among the heathen:” *And provided also*, that no holder or proprietor of warrantsProviso. or registered certificates, shall be permitted to locate the same by virtue of this act, unless the Secretary of War shall have made an endorsementThe Secretary of War to endorse the warrant or certificate that no warrant has been issued for the same in virtue of the act of March 3, 1803, ch. 33. on such warrant or registered certificate, certifying that no272EIGHTH CONGRESS.
