Chap. X.— An Act *making an appropriation for completing the south wing of the Capitol, at the City of Washington, and for other purposes.*Jan. 25, 1805. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Appropriation for completing the south wing of the Capitol, to be applied under the direction of the President. States of America in Congress assembled,* That a sum not exceeding one hundred and ten thousand dollars, shall be, and the same is hereby appropriated, to be applied under the direction of the President of the United States, towards completing the south wing of the Capitol, at the city of Washington.
Sec. 2. *And be it further enacted,* That a sum not exceeding twenty thousand dollars, shall be, and the same is hereby appropriated, to be applied under the direction of the President of the United States, to such necessary alterations and repairs, as he may deem requisite, in the north wing of the Capitol, and other public buildings at the city of Washington; which said sums shall be paid out of any monies in the treasury, not otherwise appropriated.
