LV.— An Act *concerning the Public Buildings at the City of Washington.* March 27, 1804. *Be it enacted by the Senate*, and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That fifty thousand dollars shallAppropriation for the public buildings. be, and the same is hereby appropriated, to be paid out of any money in the treasury, not otherwise appropriated, to be applied under the direction of the President of the United States, in proceeding with the public buildings at the city of Washington, and in making such necessary improvements and repairs thereon, as he shall deem expedient.
