CHAP. XXVII.— An Act granting to James D. Dana the Use of certain Plates. March 2, 1872. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * Janies D. Dana may use certain plates of the exploring expedition. That the Joint Committee on the Library be authorized to grant to James D. Dana the use of such of the engraved plates of the United States exploring expedition under Captain Wilkes, now in charge of said committee, as may be desired by him for the publishing a book on corals and coral islands. Approved, March 2, 1872.
