CHAP. XX.— An Act making Appropriations to supply a Deficiency in the Appropriations for Salaries and contingent Expenses of the Post-office Department for the current fiscal Year.Feb. 20, 1872. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* ThatDeficiency appropriation for post-office department. the following sums are hereby appropriated, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, to supply the deficiency in the appropriations for the service of the Post-office Department for the present fiscal year, viz.:— ForSalaries. salaries, eleven thousand four hundred and eighty-three dollars and twenty-five cents.
ForContingent expenses. contingent expenses, twelve thousand two hundred and sixty-eight dollars and twenty-six cents. Approved, February 20, 1872.
