CHAP. XCVI.— An Act granting a Pension to Mary A. Chute. Feb. 1, 1873. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * Pension to Mary A. Chute. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place upon the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Mary A. Chute, mother of Edward P. Chute, late a private in company I, of the tenth regiment of Maine volunteers, to take effect from the passage of this act. Approved, February 1, 1873.
