CHAP. CDXLV.— An Act for the Relief of Thomas Allen. June 10, 1872. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That the Secretary of the TreasuryPayment to Thomas Allen. be, and he is hereby, directed, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, to pay to Thomas Allen the sum of twenty-seven thousand seven hundred and thirty dollars and three cents, in full compensation for printing twenty thousand copies of the Compendium of the Sixth Census of the United States, and furnishing the materials therefor, by order of the Secretary of State. Approved, June 10, 1872.
