CHAP. CDXIX.— An Act *granting a Pension to John Davis, Corpral of the Nightwatch on board the United States, Ship “Octorara.”* March 3, 1873. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of the Interior Pension to John Davis.be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension 782 FORTY-SECOND CONGRESS. Sess. III. Ch. 420–425. 1873.roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of John Davis, a corporal of the night-watch on board the United States ship “Octorara,” and pay him at the rate of fifteen dollars per month, to commence from the passage of this act.
