CHAP. CCXXIII.— An Act for the Relief of L. Merchant and Company. May 27, 1872. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * Payment to L. Merchant and. Company. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, required to pay L. Merchant and Company the sum of three thousand seven hundred dollars, that being the price at which their steam-tug Neafie was sold, by Col[o]nel E. S. Allen, assistant quartermaster, on March second, eighteen hundred and sixty-six. Approved, May 27, 1872.
