CHAP. CCCLXXXI.— An Act for the Relief of the legal Representatives of the late George T. Wiggins, of Keokuk, in the State of Iowa. June 8, 1872. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That the Secretary of the Treasury,Payment to George T. Wiggins. out of any money in the treasury of the United States not otherwise appropriated, do pay to the legal representatives of the late George T. Wiggins, of Keokuk, in the State of Iowa, the sum of one thousand dollars, in full for all damages sustained by him in consequence of the seizure of the Leighton house, in Keokuk, Iowa, by the military authorities of the United States, for hospital purposes, in the year eighteen hundred and sixty-two.
