CHAP. CCCLXXV.— An Act *for the Relief of J. W. Holliday.* March 3, 1873. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America, in Congress assembled,* That the paymaster-general of Payment to J. W. Holliday.the army be, and he is hereby, directed to pay to J. W. Holliday, late of company B, eighth regiment of Iowa volunteer cavalry, the pay and allowances of a second lieutenant of cavalry, from the twenty-second day of February, eighteen hundred and sixty-five, to the date of his master-out of the service, deducting whatever pay he received as an enlisted man during such period, and that such payment shall be made out of any money appropriated for pay of the army.
