CHAP. XCVI.— An Act granting a Pension to Matilda Sullivan.Feb. 27, 1871. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of thePension to Matilda Sullivan. Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Matilda Sullivan, widow of John S. Sullivan, late first mate of the steamer “John Raine,” United States navy, and to pay her a pension from and after the passage of this act, during her widowhood. Approved, February 27, 1871.
