CHAP. VII.— An Act *making Appropriation for Revenue Cutters*. Dec. 22, 1870. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America, in Congress assembled*, Appropriation for construction of steam cutters for the revenue service. That the sum of three hundred thousand dollars be, and the same hereby is, appropriated, out of any moneys in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, to enable the Secretary of the Treasury to construct steam cutters for the revenue marine service, the same not to exceed in tonnage the maximum recommendedTonnage not to exceed, &c. by the commission appointed by the Secretary of the Treasury, December sixteenth, eighteen hundred and sixty-nine.
