CHAP. II.— An Act to remove political Disabilities of certain Persons therein named.Dec. 18, 1869. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* (two-thirds of each House concurringLegal and political disabilities removed from certain persons. therein,) That all legal and political disabilities imposed by the fourteenth amendment of the Constitution of the United States, by reason of participation in the rebellion, be, and they hereby are, removed from the following persons, namely:
Philemore B. Hawkins, of Franklin County, in the State of North Carolina, and C. R. Mobley, of Tampa, in the State of Florida, and D. H. McCall, of Union Springs, Alabama. Approved, December 18, 1869.
