CHAP. CLXIX.— An Act granting a Pension to John Preveaux, a Citizen of Amesbury, Massachusetts.March 3, 1871. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of the InteriorPension to John Preveaux. be, and he is hereby, authorized and required to place the name of John Preveaux, late a private in Captain Whitney’s company, first regiment of artillery, upon the pension roll, and to pay him a pension at the rate of eight dollars per month from the date of the passage of this act. Approved, March 3, 1871.
