CHAP. CCCXIV.— An Act granting a Pension to Jerry Gordon.July 15, 1870. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of the InteriorPension to Jerry Gordon. be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Jerry Gordon, and to pay him a pension of twenty-five dollars per month from the date of this act, for and during the continuance of his natural life, said Gordon having lost both legs by reason of wounds received while in the service of the United States as a teamster at the second battle of Bull Run, Virginia.
