CHAP. CCCIX.— An Act for the Relief of Charles Steedman, Commodore, United States Navy.July 15, 1870. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the proper accountingCredit to be allowed to Commodore Charles Steedman. officers of the treasury be authorized, in adjusting the accounts of Commodore Charles Steedman, of the United States navy, for disbursements as paymaster in command of the United States brig Dolphin, to allow and credit him the sum of seven hundred and four dollars and forty-one cents, the amount of debit items from errors, which occurred without fault or neglect on his part.
