CHAP. CLV.— An Act granting a Pension to Carrie E. Burdett.July 13, 1868. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of the InteriorPension to Carrie E. Burdett. be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place the name of Carrie E. Burdett, widow of James F. Burdett, late an acting assistant surgeon in the military service, on the pension roll at the rate of seventeen dollars per month, to commence on the sixth day of August, eighteen hundred and sixty-six, and to continue during her widowhood. Approved, July 13, 1868.
