CHAP. CLIX.— An Act granting a Pension to Harriet W. Pond.July 13, 1868. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of the InteriorPension to Harriet W.Pond. is hereby authorized and directed to place on the pension rolls the name of Harriet W. Pond, wife of —— Pond, formerly Harriet W. Stinson, and to allow and pay to her as in her own right, and not subject to the claim or control of her said husband, a pension at the rate of seventeen dollars per month, to commence on the twenty-first day of August, in the year eighteen hundred and sixty-four, and to continue during her natural life.
