CHAP. CIX.— An Act for the Relief of Lieutenant Leonidas Smith, late of the Twenty-second Regiment Indiana Volunteer Infantry. March 1, 1869. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * Allowance to Leonidas Smith. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and required to audit and allow to Lieutenant Leonidas Smith, late of company K, twenty-second regiment Indiana volunteer infantry, the full pay and allowances of a first lieutenant in the active service in the army in the late war, from the twenty-eighth day of February, eighteen hundred and sixty-three, to the twenty-third day of January, eighteen hundred and sixty-four, in full payment for unpaid salary and allowances for said period of time.
