CHAP. CCXV.— An Act granting a Pension to George F. Gorham, late a Private in Company “B” twenty-ninth Regiment Massachusetts volunteer Infantry.July 20, 1868. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of the InteriorPension to George F. Gorham; be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension rolls the name of George F. Gorham, late a private in company “B,” twenty-ninth regiment Massachusetts volunteer infantry, in the war of eighteen hundred and sixty-one, and that he be allowed and paid a pension at the rate of twenty-five dollars per month, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, to be computed from the sixteenth day of January, anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and sixty-five.
Sec. 2. *And be it further enacted,* That inasmuch as the said Georgeto be paid to his guardian. F. Gorham is now insane, it is ordered and directed that the pension money be paid over to his guardian to be applied to the support of said George F. Gorham during his insanity. Approved, July 20, 1868.
