CHAP. CCCXCII.— An Act granting a Pension to Chauncey D. Rose, Father of Alvin J. Rose, late a Sergeant Veteran in Company A, Second Regiment of Ohio Cavalry Volunteers, who was killed in Action at Five Forks, Virginia, April one, eighteen hundred and sixty-five.July 27, 1868. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of the InteriorPension to Chauncey D. Rose. be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Chauncey D.
Rose, father of Alvin J. Rose, late a sergeant veteran in company A, second regiment of Ohio cavalry volunteers, who was killed in action at Five Forks, Virginia, April first, eighteen hundred and sixty-five, and that he be paid a pension at the rate of eight dollars per month during his natural life, to commence on the first day of April, anno Domini eighteen hundred and sixty-five.
