CHAP. CCCVII.— An Act for the Relief of Hon. George W. Bridges, a Member of the Thirty-seventh Congress.July 27, 1868. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the treasurer of the UnitedPayment to George W. Bridges. States pay to the Hon. George W. Bridges, late a member of the Thirty-seventh Congress, from the State of Tennessee, the sum of one thousand six hundred and eighty-five dollars and ten cents, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, in full compensation and payment of his claim for pay as a member of the Thirty-seventh Congress, deducted for loss of time, occasioned by his arrest by rebel authority while on his way to the capital.
