CHAP. CCCIX.— An Act for the Relief of Palemon John.July 27, 1868. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the commissioner of internalCredit to be allowed Palemon John. revenue be, and hereby is, instructed to allow Palemon John a credit for the sum of seven hundred and sixty-nine dollars and thirty-seven cents, for that amount of revenue stamps lost or stolen from the mails while the same were in transit to said commissioner from said Palemon John, late revenue stamp agent. Approved, July 27, 1868.
