CHAP. CCCII.— An Act granting a Pension to Charles Hamstead.July 27, 1868. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of the InteriorPension to Charles Hamstead. be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the limitations and provisions of the pension laws, the name of Charles Hamstead, late a member of Captain Shell’s company of West Virginia State guards, (afterwards the seventh West Virginia volunteers,) commencing February twenty-sixth, eighteen hundred and sixty-two. Approved, July 27, 1868.
