V.— An Act authorizing the Secretary of the Treasury to appoint Assistant Assessors of Internal Revenue.January 15, 1866. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of the TreasuryAssistant assessors of internal revenue appointed by Secretary of Treasury. is hereby authorized to appoint any assistant assessors of internal revenue now provided by law. Approved, January 15, 1866.
