CHAP. CXIII.— An Act *for the Relief of the Orphan Children of John Faris*. Feb. 28, 1867. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Pension to children of John Faris. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, or cause to be paid, to the legally appointed guardian of the orphan children of John Faris, deceased, formerly of Paris, Henry county, Tennessee, until they severally attain the age of sixteen years, the pension awarded to the orphan children of soldiers killed in the line of duty, the same to be paid under the restrictions and limitations of the general pension laws.
