Chap. XII.— An Act *making Appropriations for the Payment of invalid and other Pensions of the United States for the Year ending the thirtieth of June, eighteen hundred and sixty-six.* Jan. 11, 1865. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in ConCongress assembled,* That the following sums be, Pensions appropriation.and the same are hereby, appropriated, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the payment of pensions for the year ending the thirtieth of June, eighteen hundred and sixty-six:— For invalid pensions under various acts, four million dollars.
Invalid. For revolutionary pensions, per acts of March eighteenth, eighteen Revolutionary. 1818, ch. 19. 1828, ch. 53. 1832, ch. 126. 1833, ch. 180. 1843, ch. 102. 1844, ch. 102. 1848, ch. 3, 123. 1853, ch. 41.hundred and eighteen; May fifteenth, eighteen hundred and twenty-eight; June seventh, eighteen hundred and thirty-two; third section of act of July seventh, eighteen hundred and thirty-eight; March third, eighteen hundred and forty-three; June seventeenth, eighteen hundred and forty-four;
February second and July twenty-ninth, eighteen hundred and forty-eight; and second section [of] act of February third, eighteen hundred and fifty-three, two hundred and thirty thousand dollars. For pensions to widows, mothers, children, and sisters, under the first section Widows, children, &c. 1836, ch. 362. 1848, ch. 108. 1853, ch. 41. 1858, ch. 83. 1862, ch. 166.of the act of fourth July, eighteen hundred and thirty-six; act of July twenty first, eighteen hundred and forty-eight; first section of the act of February third, eighteen hundred and fifty-three;
June third, eighteen hundred and fifty-eight; and July fourteenth, eighteen hundred and sixty-two, seven million dollars. Sec. 2. *And be it further enacted,* That the following sums be, and the Deficiency appropriation.same are hereby, appropriated to supply deficiencies in the appropriations for the present fiscal year: for the payment of pensions under the acts of March eighteenth, eighteen hundred and eighteen; May fifteenth, eighteen hundred and twenty-eight; June seventh, eighteen hundred and thirty-two; third section of act of July fourth, eighteen hundred and thirty-six;
July seventh, eighteen hundred and thirty-eight; *January* [June] seventeenth, eighteen hundred and forty-four; March third, eighteen hundred and forty-three; February second and July twenty-ninth, eighteen hundred and forty-eight; and second section of act of February third, eighteen hundred and fifty-three, sixty-five thousand dollars. For the payment of pensions under the first section of the act of July fourth, eighteen hundred and thirty-six; act of July twenty-first, eighteen hundred and forty-eight; first section of the act of February third, eighteen hundred and fifty-three;
