XI.— An Act *to repeal the Provision of Law requiring certain Regents of the Smithsonian Institution to be Members of the National Institute.* Jan. 10, 1865. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That so much of the act “To Two regents of Smithsonia Institution need not be members of National Institute.establish the Smithsonian Institution, for the increase and diffusion of knowledge among men” as requires that two of the regents of said institution shall be members of the National Institute in the city of Washington, be, and the same is hereby, repealed. Approved, January 10, 1865.
