Chap. CXI.— An Act *to provide for granting an honorable Discharge to Coal-heavers and Firemen in the Naval Service.* June 7, 1864. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Coal-heavers and firemen may be honorably discharged. That honorable discharges may be granted to coal-heavers and firemen in the naval service of the United States in the same manner and subject to the same conditions as such discharges are now granted to seamen, ordinary seamen, landsmen, and boys. Approved, June 7, 1864.
