Chap. CCXXIII.— An Act authorizing the Erection of Buildings for the Branch-Mint at San Francisco.July 2, 1864. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* ThatAppropriation for branch-mint in San Francisco the sum of three hundred thousand dollars be, and the same is hereby, appropriated, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, to be expended, under the direction of the Secretary of the Treasury, in the purchase of a site, if necessary, and the erection of a suitable building or buildings for the use of the branch-mint at San Francisco, in the State of California. Approved, July 2, 1864.
