Chap. CCLV.— An Act for the Relief of Horace Gates.July 4, 1864. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, directed to place the name of Horace Gates, ofPension to Horace Gates. Franklin, in the State of Vermont, upon the roll of invalid pensions, at the rate of eight dollars per month, to commence on the first day of January, eighteen hundred and sixty-two, and continue during his natural life. Approved, July 4, 1864.
