Chap. XXIV.— An Act for the Relief of Charner T. Scaife, Administrator of Gilbert Stalker.April 11, 1860. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he hereby is, directed, out of any money in the treasury not$5,645.16 to be paid Charner T. Scaife, for use of steamboat “James Adams.” otherwise appropriated, to pay to Charner T. Scaife, administrator of Gilbert Stalker, deceased, five thousand six hundred and forty-five dollars and sixteen cents in full, for the use and service of the steamboat “James Adams,” belonging to said Stalker, from the first day of August, eighteen hundred and forty-one, to the ninth day of July, eighteen hundred and forty-two.
